CarComplaints.com Notes: For the third year in a row, the 3rd generation Focus is experiencing massive transmission problems.

Most notably owners keep complaining about how there's bad hesitation and jerking when starting from a stop. This isn't the result of an old, worn out part. In fact, the average mileage it's reported to us is just over 15k miles.

Noticed that my anti-freeze coolant was very low and brought this into the Ford dealer and they said there was a hole in the radiator and had it sealed. But the coolant is still low after a long drive and Ford now wont claim anything wrong with the car. So I can't go on any long trips without carrying Antifreeze coolant on me.

Bought the car, when I was leaving the dealership there was no heat. They kept vehicle to figure out why. they had the vehicle for a week and it was not fixed. I was annoyed and took vehicle and left. the car overheated and it was towed back to dealership. at that time I was given a car to use while they figured out the problem and fixed mine. It took about a week before I got my car back!
