After driving in rain, to work, where the anti-lock brakes were activated, the brake pedal went to the floor, on my way home, as I was turning into my neighborhood. I believe this is a recall issue #19S54. Ford wants to charge me $95-$115 for diognostics, and will not provide a loaner vehicle while they order parts (2 to 3 days). I do not feel safe driving the vehicle, and will need to have it towed to the dealership.this recall has been un effect since 2019, yet they have no remedy as of now. There is also a second recall for airbags. (I already had the first airbag recall fixed.) they want me to drive a vehicke with faulty breaks and an airbag that may explode, and kill me upon impact. My case number is cas31223959, but they offer no solution to this problem, which they caused in the first place.

Reference NHTSA recall number 19V904 - this recall was issued in December 2019: "on your vehicle, a valve in the hydraulic control unit of the anti-lock braking system may be stuck open....this may result in extended brake pedal travel required to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. The condition does not result in a loss of braking function and the vehicle can be brought to a controlled stop...Ford is working closely with its suppliers to produce parts for this repair. When parts become available, Ford will notify you via mail to schedule a service appointment with your dealer for repairs to be completed free of charge (parts and labor). Parts are anticipated to be available late first quarter 2020." At the time of this message it has been 16 months since this recall was issued and it is now quarter 2 of 2021 and parts to fix this problem are still not available. This is especially concerning, considering that another recall was issued last month, March 2021 (NHTSA recall number 21V158: The driver airbag inflator in your vehicle may explode in the event of a crash that causes deployment of the driver airbag. If an airbag inflator explodes, sharp metal fragments could strike the driver or other occupants causing serious injury or death.). the combination of these recalls is genuinely concerning and neither one is able to be remedied by Ford at this time. Given these life-threatening safety recalls, I do not feel safe driving the vehicle. But I can't in good faith sell or donate the vehicle under this condition as it would be egregious.

Ford Motor Company sent me several recall notices. When I responded to have the recall done by their mobile unit, they complied. I had no issues with my airbag light in the dash prior to the recall being performed. After the air bag recall was performed, the airbag light came on and stated on. I called Ford Motor Company and notified them of the issue. I was told I had to bring vehicle in to be diagnosed for a fee of $129 dollars. Again I had no issues with my air bag light prior to the recall being performed.

I took my Fusion in for the airbag recall. The airbag was replaced and now the dash is slightly raised up and looks like the airbag is going to blow out of it anytime. Now the airbag light in the instrument panel is turning on and off randomly. I took my car back to the dealership who replaced the airbag and they say this is a common issue and has nothing to do with what they did. So now I do not know if my car is safe or not to be driving.

The contact owns a 2008 Ford Fusion. In approximately August of 2018, the vehicle was taken to battlefield Ford culpeper (10463 james monroe hwy, culpeper, va 22701) where the passenger side air bag inflator was replaced.
