CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2011 Fusion builds off the 2010's reputation. That's not a good thing.
The first thing that jumps out is the ridiculous amount of power steering complaints. It grinds, it squeals, and it eventually just fails.
And if losing power steering isn’t enough for you, how about a sudden loss of engine power? That combination is enough to achieve clunker status.

My son told me that our 4 yr old car was getting a traction control light on as he was driving it four hours north of our home at college. He got home and I finally drove it. As I entered the ramp to go to work, the car started sliding - it scared the hell out of me.As if that wasn't enough, I am having half shafts replaced tomorrow and having it eval'd for a steering assist failure (hard steering). I like Ford, but this is ridiculous.
