We have attempted on multiple occassions to address a pending recall that Ford company states the parts are in yet our local dealership says otherwise. I've been on hold with Ford Motor Company for excessive times that I feel I need the assistance of someone else. Can you please assist with getting us responses as to when the parts for my car will be available (since Ford co says for me to call our dealer, yet the dealer continues to tell us the parts are not available yet).

Takata recall my 2007 Mustang was sold new in tokyo Japan and has now been imported to australia.I have owned it for 6 years and am concerned that the recall database may not include my car as it was sold in Japan and it states on the database that it doesn't cover international products. My local dealer was very helpful and referred me to this web site and it shows that it has no recalls but I have noticed that all other 2007 Mustangs in usa have been recalled is there any way that you could check out my VIN as I have contacted Ford australia as well and they called it a gray import and couldn't do anything to help me. This website is the only site that gives me an email address to try to get a definite answer. Regards [xxx]. I have just tried filling in my address and it won't allow me to put australia in as a state or country so I will enter Alaska as a state. If you reply to my email I would really appreciate it as I have no other alternatives and would hate it if the air bags were ever deployed and there was a problem. I was notified that the air bags on the passenger side needed to be replaced. But was told by the Ford dealership in wilson, nc that the part for the airbag wouldn't come in until the end of the year. This was going going to go overseas with me since I'm getting stationed in italy. Now I can't take the vehicle overseas with me due to the part not coming in until the end of the year. I'm highly disappointed, the drivers airbag recall didn't take nowhere near as long to get fixed.

Takata recall-I have been waiting since early December 2017 for a fix to the passenger air bag recall. No resolution by takata to date and I was advised not to have anyone in the passenger seat. I need to drive coworkers and friends/family frequently and this is a huge inconvenience. I was warned in the letter from Ford that death can result if the air bag is deployed at the passenger seating. Please help expedite this recall if possible. Thank you!

Takata recall: It is unfathomable that the Ford Motor Company and the NHTSA feel the recall plan is acceptable for vehicle owners. We are being told to live with the defect for at least 2 full years - recall was June 2016 and latest notice is that parts for some vehicles are expected in spring 2018. During this time the remedy is that passengers cannot ride in the front seat. This is totally unacceptable and inflicts irreparable damage to vehicle owners as this remedy severely limits use of the vehicle far below its intended use. I realize the recall is with respect to a part supplied to Ford, but this makes no difference. When I buy the vehicle, I purchase a Ford vehicle, period. I feel it is a dereliction of duty for the NHTSA to have allowed this recall plan to be forced unfairly on to vehicle owners. I believe the plan should be amended such that Ford is required to develop the parts sooner and, moreover, vehicle owners should be compensated for this extreme limitation on the use of our vehicles. I'm sure if a company like Ford really wanted to expedite the process, it has the resources to do so. The NHTSA really let Ford off the hook on this one. So disappointing.

Takata recall, Jun 01,2016, manufacturer recall number16S26, NHTSA recall number16V384. Passenger side air bag recall dated 6-1-17. In December 2017 I am notified not to let anyone sit in the passenger seat. This effectively makes my car a one person car because no human adult can fit in the rear seat. I have asked my dealer for a loaner until the airbag is replaced and was denied. It is now 20 months since the original recall. Certainly Ford is selling new cars with airbags. Why has it taken so long to replace my airbag? please force Ford to provide loaner cars in order to make them get serious about the recall. They sourced the inadequate takata airbags. This is a Ford problem, them should have acted in a timely manner.

Takata recall - I received a notice in July 2016 of the recall of my vehicle due to a defective takata air bag on the passenger side. Availability of replacement parts has been repeatedly delayed. As of a December 2017 notice the earliest parts are expected to be available is spring 2018. The advisory warns that no passengers should occupy the front passenger seat until repairs are made. The delay of part availability is unacceptable. I have a vehicle that can't carry a passenger, and has limited resale value due to the defect.
