Ford knew that the transmission was going bad on these Mustangs. When I attempt to accelerate my car does not move. Imagine this happening in traffic and me being killed

I decided to drop the convertible top of my 2011 Ford Mustang when the weather decided to change I was pressing the button to let the top up. Nothing is happening all fuel's are in excellent condition battery is good the pump under the back seat is at its rite level. I had to park for hours under shead until the rain stops an was able to drive it to a friend house who was gladly to let me park the car in his garage. I was park at a gas station.

Wrench indicator light came on yesterday as well as my service engine soon light and I have no power in reverse or drive. It starts to work and will go off for a bit but does the same again. Apparently there was a customer satis. Program 16B23 letter that went out to fix this that I never received. Ford now will not honor it to be fixed D/T the letter expired 9/30/17. The letter I never received.

While driving on I-95 in ft. Lauderdale, flduring rush hour I rear ended the car in front, speed approximately 30mph or less before applying brakes. Car nose dived and hit rear of other car going under the rear bumper. My car suffered minor damage of both fenders, headlights, radiator. Front bumper was untouched, air bag did not deploy. I turned ignition off, put car in park, stepped out of car and after approximately 2 - 5 minutes fire was visible below bumper that rapidly turned into a full fledged fire engulfing the entire car. The collision caused no damage to the car past the front of the engine, flywheels untouched. Fire truck arrived to put out fire. No explosion occurred. The collision should not have caused a fire

Still doing the dance to crank car. Works most of the time sometimes have to do it twice. The steering has done the not working thing like 3 more times just hope the steering wheel does not lock up while I"M driving I have done everything they suggested on line but it hasnt fixed the problem there are a lot of cars that are doing the not starting seems to be the security system causing the problem like tho the Ford place knows nothing about the problem. Suggested I get rid of the car which I cant afford to

I can be driving my car and it will just lose power... I can be sitting at a red light...I can be on the highway and it'll just stop pulling... the check engine light pop on and a wrench light pops on the dash....I have to pull over out of traffic which is extremely dangerous onto the side of the road...I would turn the car off and wait a minute.. start it back up...the wrench signal is gone but the check engine light is still on...this has been going on with this car for a while now...and I took it to auto zone... they did diagnostics on it and said it was the eit or throttle body.

My back passenger floor is soaking wet for no reason. I have had issues with my air conditioning. Dealership said I had a leak but could not find the problem. I researched when they couldn't find it. My car started to not only blow hot air, but started smelling moldy. My cabin air filter and the carpartment was full of water. The filter was soaking wet and full of mold. I change it and drained the water myself. My car ac ran better than ever up to yesterday. My ac is not blowing the ice cold air and their is lots of water on the back floor. I have heated seats. The electrical parts are under the seats. I was told by the dealership I have the best warranty but it doesn't cover water. It didn't cover the ac either. I'm told I'm going to have to pay another $300+ to fix my car when this is a problem with 2005- present Mustangs. Look at www.allfordmustangs.com/forums/2011-2014-Mustang-talk/441897-2011-GT-passenger-foot-wells-flooded-during-rainstorm.html#/forumsite/20799/topics/441897?page=1. he had the same issue. I'm still waiting for my seat belt recall to be fixed. I've had my seat belt warning a year after I got the car. I was told it too wasn't covered by the warranty and I would have to pay for the diagnostic to see what is causing the warning light on my dash. Ford needs to be held responsible for their cars and start fixing them. I have severe allergies. My back seat already has green looking mold on the carpet that obviously the water has been there for some time. I'm very upset by how it's about the money and not the customer service anymore. I don't feel safe and I owe too much. I can't get out of my car loan so I'm stuck with this lemon. Please, please help me. Look into the multiple complaints out on the internet about the cabin air filter drain backing up inside the car. Ford needs to find a solution and fix the damages done so far. My car stays in a garage except when I'm at work. I hope you will look into my issue. Thank you for your time.

Mustang 2011 hood edge has blistering paint in several places. Eclectic drivers side car seat stopped working, unable to adjust to a correct position, which affects driving safely, puerile low profile tires became weathered and cracked to the point of being unsafe to drive at 24,000 miles, I had to replace all 4 bad tires. I had a flat tire due to cracks in my tires and was informed they were unsafe for driving. I feel ripped off that my car feels unsafe to drive and is also now rusting. I'm attaching only one photo of a tire side since I'm still looking for my other photos with the weather rotting and huge cracks.

Driving down an interstate a wrench came on the dashboard and car went into limp mode. Pulled off turned the car off and restarted it. Got to the destination ok but on the way back home the wrench came on again. Looked at the code and saw it was the P2111 code. It happened 4 times in the way, losing power and shaking. Taking it to Ford tomorrow to find out if it covered under the warranty. There was no recall in the car, however, I am noticing a lot of people are having this issue. This is a safety issue and should have a recall on it. From what everyone else is saying Ford is not doing anything to help or fix the problem.

Driving over speed bumps in my apartment complex and the wrench lights comes on and the car would not move when I press the gas pedal however, the car was still running idle but not throttle what so ever. It is a reoccurring problem and I fear for me and my child's safety so frightened this will happen in the middle of the interstate somewhere and cause an accident or harm to myself or someone else. This needs to be fixed by Ford at no cost to consumers, was told that it would cost me $850 to get it fixed because my car is no longer under warranty. Clearly this is a manufacture defect and should be corrected before someone gets hurt or killed

Mustang 8-cyl

Faulty 6-speed manual transmission. Any time the vehicle is on an incline 20 degrees or higher and being shifted from 2nd gear (around 18-20mph) to any other gear the shifter gets stuck in neutral with inability to go to any other gear until the engine RPM drops. This shifting delay can take anywhere form 3 to 7 seconds, before another gear is available to engage.

The Mustang is a manual transmission and has been having problems since the 900mi (1.5 months after purchase). The clutch assembly and transmission assembly are having to be replaced by Ford because they are not engaging correctly. Ford dealership tried to blame it on modifications done to the car. But after getting an engineer on site from Ford, they found it be faulty clutch and transmission assembly from the factory.

I was proceeding from a stop sign to merge with on-coming traffic and was not able to enter 2nd gear and only after shifting into 3rd instead was able to avert being hit. It was not due to the 1st to 4th skip shift feature. The car has already been into Ford (for a technical service bulletin repair for the transmission) to fix the shifting problem, but the vehicle is still hard to shift in lower gears and now has transmission whine. This is very dangerous! many others are affected by this problem. Ford needs to recall this transmission.

The car has a manual 6 speed transmission. When wearing loafers and with depression of the clutch to shift, the heel of the loafer upon releasing the clutch will catch on the floor mat and the shoe will dislodge from my foot. This has happened more than a dozen times and can/will cause an accident. It has happened with 3 different pairs of shoes. This can happen at any speed. The event described above was while backing out of the driveway but it has happened while shifting normally. I have notified Ford customer service today and they may provide me with a different floor mat however this is a concern with the design of this floor mat and should be addressed by Ford.
