I randomly checked to see if any recalls were out regarding this vehicle. Upon checking I entered my vin # but was advised it was not part of the airbag recall. However my airbag light constantly comes on.

I have a confirmed issue with my son's passenger side airbag. The local dealer woody anderson Ford was not able to schedule repairs until March 17th and would not offer a loaner even for the day of the repair. As a result my son will have to drive an unsafe vehicle for 2 1/2 months until the repairs can be made.

I have been trying for three months to get my local Ford dealership (freedom Ford of morgantown) to cooperate with me to get this safety recall done. It's apparent they would rather make money instead of fixing recalls. My vehicle does not see rain or snow.

Takara recall my daughter was driving on a city street and all of a sudden front and side driver side airbags deployed spontaneously and exploded causing her burns and lacerations. Also caused bruising and pain on her shoulder, pain in neck lowerback and ribcage area. This caused her to rear end another vehicle. The battery completely died after and needed to be jump started by tow company. They also couldn't get the trunk to open. I have a claim with Ford and they did ask me at my cost to deliver car to dealership so they could retrieve the rcm but my insurance will not allow the vehicle to be removed. I did contact my product claim rep and now I am being completely ignored. This is a very dangerous defect that needs to be investigated. Thank you.

The contact owned a 2014 Ford Mustang. The contact stated his daughter was driving at 45 mph, when another vehicle crashed into the entire driver side of the vehicle. As a result, the vehicle moved forward, causing a second vehicle to crash the front of the vehicle. The drivers side air bag delayed in deploying. The driver had already exited the vehicle when the air bag deployed. The drivers head hit the steering wheel and needed medical attention. In addition, the driver of the second vehicle requested medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was not drivable and was towed to an impound lot. The contact called a local dealer (fairway Ford located at 2323 laurens rd, greenville, SC 29607, (864) 242-5060) and was made aware of failure. The contact mentioned that NHTSA campaign number: 15V319000 (air bags) was completed 2 years ago at the same local dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired as of yet. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer had not been informed of failure. The failure mileage was 26,000.

Takata recall I have received numerous recall notices for this vehicle, but I haven't owned or leased this vehicle for 5 years. I called Ford Motor Company to request that they redirect the recall notice to the current owner but they said they were unable to do so. Part of the excuse I was given was that Ford doesn't send out the notices, they subcontract this to another entity. I don't know who the current owner is. I was the original lessee of the vehicle when I was an employee of Ford Motor Company and this was part of the management lease vehicle program. All registration of the vehicle was handled by them, for this and all the other vehicles that I leased from them as part of this program. This vehicle was returned to Ford at the end of the lease and they then dispositioned it, either through resale or other result. My complaint is that Ford knowingly is not informing the correct owner/lessee of this vehicle of the current takata recalls. I regret that I have to file a complaint against Ford Motor Company, as a former employee who respects the company and its products, but my intent is to ensure that the current owner of the vehicle is notified as soon as possible given the severity of the issue. Note: The card that I received with notice of this recall says "don't press your luck!"

I purchased a car a month ago, right after I filled all paperwork out and was to take delivery the airbag light went off. They sent car to a Ford dealer 2 weeks later and said the part needed is on backorder until 12/14. (I am making payments and insurance on car) they gave me a part number of dr3Z1ha005hc and carmax is telling me now the Ford dealer is giving them a hard time. I have searched this part thru Ford and there isn't one. It's supposed to be a drivers seat airbag harness that has sensors on it. What am I supposed to do as a consumer? I want this car! I need this car! I'm paying for this car! everyone is being unhelpful!
