(reported on)Probe GT 2.4L
Car was running fine when last started. When started and proceeded to drive the car stalled making unusual sound. Would barely turn over, we thought it was the starter because it would not respond with boost. Replaced starter still no start. Checked spark and fuel delivery and it was fine. Checked timing after placing number one cylinder at TDC found distributor was out by approx. 15 degrees. Removed timing belt covers and found the timing belt had tracked off cam and crank pullies. Removed tensioner pulley to find bolt bent. Still see no reason for belt to track off. Going to replace tensioner bolt and belt and try again.
