Engine was making a pinging noise, it was a spark plug knock. Contacted dealer, and dealer stated nothing could be done. This was a Ford problem.contacted Ford, and Ford don't have part to fix problem. Please add VIN.
I bought a 2000 Ford Ranger trailhead in May 2000.since I drove it off the lot, it has been stalling whenever I push in the clutch to stop or turn a corner.this only happens when the gastank is at or above 3/4 of a tank.three times I`ve taken it back to the dealer, and I was told there is a problem with the idle, but they don`T know how to fix it.on the third time picking up my truck, I was told that there was no problem.it stalled 5 times on my way home! I even talked to Ford reps.about it and still haven`T heard a thing back. If I can`T get the dealership or Ford to recognize the stalling problem, what do I do"please help me"
