Ranger XLT Supercab

  • 21,635 miles

Passenger seat had been moved completely forward to access supercab suicide door and rear compartment. Returned seat on slide rails to rearward locked position, then lifted seat recline lever to return seat back to a position allowing easy entry. Lever broke off in hand. Lever was not forced at all and no person was in seat, nor was any rearward pressure exerted on seat back other than to keep it from popping forward. Plastic handle is cheaply built without adequate reinforcement.
