Due to rust have to replaced the rear bumper. The consumer stated the tailgate was also rusted. The entire rear frame was rusted and needed to be replaced.

The contact owns a 2007 Ford Ranger. While driving at any speed, the passenger and driver's side doors rattle and shake as if something was loose. The contact often holds his leg against the door to lessen the noise. The vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealer. In addition, the tailgate handle is made of metal, coated with plastic and has levers on both sides. The driver's side lever detached because the leverage was unevenly distributed. The current mileage was 22,000 and failure mileage was 24. Updated 10/16/08 the consumer stated the dealer fixed the problem. Updated 10/20/08.

2007 Ford Ranger customer states that there is an violent uncontrollable shaking and shimmy between 45 to 65 mph* the dealer informed the consumer they were aware of the problem, but there was nothing they could. The dealer advised the consumer to contact the manufacturer. The consumer also stated, that ice and snow would build up in the groove of the wheel. The consumer was told that since he lived in a city with severe winter weather, there was nothing they could do.
