Dealer says the vehicle is supposed to have A/C running in ALL modes except off or vent.

Instead of getting 18MPG city, I get 12.5MPG city. Pulling the fuse still makes the CAN network think that the vehicle has A/C running.

Best solution is to either sue Ford or find the signal wire from the climate control switch to the A/C control module/computer, cut it and install a switch. BE SURE TO RUN THE A/C AT LEAST 15 MIN A MONTH TO KEEP SEALS LUBRICATED. EVEN IN THE WINTER.

THIS PROBLEM IS IN DIRECT VIOLATION OF THE CLEAN AIR ACT IN THE USA.

The Air conditioning is constantly running. When on vent, vent/feet, feet, it should not be running. It should only be running when switched to A/C. It can be 30 degrees C above zero and the air blowing out of the vents is sub zero. After stopping truck, there is a puddle on the ground under the compressor. Dealership says they were suppose to be like that. The air conditioning running all of the time is killing my gas mileage.
