First time fixed, he screwed up the dash, vents, and housing behind dash. Then disappeared so no recourse when it started leaking again. Make sure you either are there when done, or have licensed shop repair as these will fail again if you use a cheap heater core, and they easily mess up the housing under the dash.

Taurus GL 3.0L

  • Automatic transmission

Guy that fixed it, tore out dash to install, 4+ hrs labor, $500, screwed up dash and didn't connect back the vents so neither hot nor cold worked very well. Make sure you do it yourself or have licensed shop so that you have warranty. Ended up leaking because he had substandard parts or replaced old one, then disappeared.
