No matter what we do or replace, that stupid light will not go out and stay out and it is so annoying to deal with but we really like the car and don't want to get rid of it at this time. We have replaced everything, such as the egr valve, and hoses, and what ever else we could think of that might have to deal with the egr valve and it's components.

I bought my car in Jan. 2007 it was a one owner. Super clean. Just the last week my service engine soon light keeps coming on. I took it to Auto Zone they said insufficient air flow ( EGR VALVE ). So I replaced it. A day later the light came back on. I cleaned out the intake replace the egr solenoid sensor. checked all the vacuum lines . I checked everything I could think of. But the funny thing is the car runs wonderful, runs like new. I'm confused. I had the light reset three times. It stays off for about a day. I don't wont to sell the car, I really like it. Does anyone have any other ideas. Maybe it has a faulty engine light. It runs great.

I recently replaced my EGR valve. Check engine light continued to stay on. Took the car to Autozone to get a diagnostic. They said it was getting insufficient flow to the EGR. I started it after driving it 300 miles and thats when the check engine light started to flash. It drove and ran fine with no noises. It starts fine, driving wise I don't know because I'm scared to drive it so I don't break something that's gonna ruin the car totally. I just bought the car i few months ago!
