Although the car was driven gently and serviced regularly by Ford dealers, the lower engine bearings failed 1,000 miles after the extended warranty (7 years - 75,000 miles). Ford was unwilling to make any financial adjustment to the $6,000 bill. I consider Ford's indifference to this premature engine failure outrageous. I do not intend to buy a Ford vehicle again!
