I have had this car since Jan 2014, I took it on a road trip with my wife to go see her dad, we live across the state. About 5 hours away, struts looked fine. By the time we get there with two suitcases, and a dog in the back seat, THAT IS IT. The struts on this thing are almost riding car body on tire. They practically gave out. It is horrible, If we even keep this car it is going to be one of the things we are going to have to replace.
I have never, in all my years, seen struts this poorly sized for the weight of this vehicle. If you get in the vehicle and have 4 people in it, the back becomes a low rider.... sad. I am afraid to drive it with more than just my wife and I in it because of that. Absolutely ridiculous. Poorly designed, here is a suggestion when you make a car think that there will be a good amount of luggage in the trunk and backseat, will it hold up to a road trip, if the answer is your ass will be dragging....... then probably NOT A GOOD FIT.
