The contact owns a 2001 Ford Taurus. When the contact took the vehicle to the dealer for new tires, she was informed that both rear leaf springs failed. The rear springs were rubbing against the tires. The dealer stated that the springs could puncture the tires and cause great harm. The repair would cost $600. The purchase date was unknown.
