Well while driving at high speeds and braking frequently brakes heat up developing the unpleasant burning smell, even applying full pressure on the brakes will not stop the car as when they are cool. Also i am a cop in Puerto Rico and i have a partner that totalled one of the same cars on a high speed pursuit because of the same problem.
