(reported on)Taurus SES
I first bought the car in March of 05 as a resolution to high gas prices as a trade in for an Expedition. Within a month I started noticing a problem. It started to shake at a stop light. It didn't happen again for a few months then the sh*t hit the fan. It wouldn't accelerate and would shake pretty violently. I called the dealership and they said the car may need a tune up( yeah right). So I took the car to the dealer and found out that the tune up is going to cost $300( HELL NO!!!). So I took it to an outside mechanic and found out that it only needed a fuel injection cleaning( $30). The car ran great for 3 or 4 months then it started all over again. Only this time the car shut off on my wife as she was driving on the freeway at 75 miles per hour. So as far as I'm concerned Ford can kiss my ass. I hated that piece of sh*t so much that I surrendered the car to Ford. DO NOT BUY A FORD!!!! Found On Road Dead is right.
