I WOULD HAD LIKED SOME KIND OF WARNING. i'm driving down the road going to my house, i feel a surge like when u step on the gas suddenly, but didn't think anything of it, i pulled into my driveway. i ran into my house for a moment, got back into my car, pulled out of my driveway, and started down the road. Suddenly i find my car won't shift into 2nd gear, the engine rpms go up and the speed stays the same. so i turned around went home and called a tow truck. here it is about a week later and i find out i have to replace the transmission. Tomorrow i start calling to hopefully find a used one, but if it's the same one that just blow 2nd gear how the f.... can i trust it out of a junk yard. a f....3 year old car with a used transmission. Would had been nice if it had slipped, or the fluid was actually burnt, or a light on the dash say check transmission, like the check engine light that seems to come on on any auto every year just before it needs to be inspected, at least something ignoring, but nothing, fluid that looks like it just came out of the bottle, i can't smell it i have sinus allergies that kills the ability to smell slit smells.i have 2 years left to pay on it and now i have to get a loan to fix it.
