It is shameful that Ford Motor Company and you are already aware of this problem with the transmissions and torque converter on the 2006 and the 2007 Ford tauruses. I reported my husband's 2006 Ford Taurus transmission problem to you in 2011. We delivered our son's 2007 Ford Taurus to the transmission repair shop today. Again the transmission repairman told us the same exact thing - that the torque converter and transmissions are defective in those year models and more year models in the Ford Taurus. He knows there should be a recall from 1996 til now on the Ford Taurus defective transmission. The car comes to a complete stop anywhere and it will not go forward or backward(my husband's car did this). We delivered our son's when we noticed at about 45 miles per hour the car jumps just like my husbands 2006 Ford Taurus did just before it stopped suddenly in the road. Your failure to fix this problem is negligence and Ford Motor Company is responsible for this. How many people have to die to fix this problem? it is very dangerous and fixable.
