Tempo GL 2.3L 4 cyl.
VEHICLE SMELLED OF BURNING OIL. OPEN HOOD AND NOTHING. PULL OFF PCV VALVE AND SMOKE IS BARRELING OUT OF THE VALVE COVER. THOUGHT MAYBE ITS THE HEAD GASKET. TOOK HEAD OFF AND LOOKS GREAT INSIDE CYL. CHAMBERS AND NO CRACKS OR BREAKS IN HEAD GASKET. WHILE WIPING OFF PISTON HEADS TO REPLACE HEAD, CYL. #2 WOBBLED AROUND. SHUT HOOD AND SITS THERE TODAY. PISTON RINGS IN CYL #2 BLOWN? MAKES SENSE W/ SMOKE COMING OUT OF VALVE COVER. REPLACING ALL GASKETS AND RINGS WHEN WEATHER WARMS.
