A problem with the lift gate door sensor as In the past - re-closing it has helped. Now it won't go off. The Dome light will stay on all night because of this. Why in the hell would they make the dome light stay on indefinitely? I cannot find a cable for disconnecting this sensor.

Whenever I step on the brake, the "door ajar" dinging sound goes off incessantly and

drives me crazy, I want to know how to manually turn off the "door ajar" sound!!!
