I am just curious about this. We recently purchased this 1998 Ford Windstar. The interior lights are either on or off. They do come on when you turn the switch on. They do not come on when the doors open. This is quite dangerous when out at night. I have no idea if there's some little switch or something that makes the lights come on when the doors open or if it's just not an option on this van. It is quite annoying to be in the dark with no interior lights.
