Windstar GL 3.0L V6

We have had this thing for over two years. The transmission went out not 2mths after we bought it. It cost over $2,000. It had a 1yr warranty. Well not even a month after it expired we were driving down the road the transmission clunked and it wouldn't pull. So another $2500 on the never ending credit card bill. I should have cut my losses. SO fast forward three months later and you guessed it. On the way back from a camping trip w/ a van full of Boy Scouts the Transmission clunked again and made a horrid grinding noise. So I drove it back home 150 miles on a prayer. At this point i could care less. The shop actually honored the warranty maybe just to save the publicity. SO fast forward yet again to you guessed it about a month and a half after the warranty is gone. And the overdrive light comes on like with many of the other complaints after about 55mph. BOTTOM LINE I WILL NEVER NEVER OWN ANOTHER FORD AGAIN. (unless its a vintage Mustang)

this light is really starting to get on my nerves. it doesn't come on all the time but majority of the time i'm driving it does. when it comes on it makes the car jerk sometimes. i really wish i knew why it does this.
