They had a recall on this part because of it catching on fire. THEY DID NOT FIX THIS ISSUE. Instead they put a harness on your car that senses if the cruise control is getting too hot, if it does the harness will SHUT OFF your cruise control!! That is Fords idea of fixing a problem!! They disabled a feature I PAID FOR!! To say I'm pissed is an understatement, they should fix it and make sure the cruise control still works!!
This is the same thing they are doing with the latest recall the axle is breaking so they are putting a stablizing bracket on it instead of replacing it! That's crap and I've had enough of Ford!
