Windstar SE 3.6L V6

abs light originally came on and off at random, more so when wet, now it never turns off at all.

I have not had the time to fully diagnose the issue however i am seeing that it is common , i was thinking it was a wheel speed sensor now I'm afraid its much worse.

Well like I said, not much of a probem till today 04-03-2012. I don't know what has happened to my brakes, they are malfunctioning bad.I was in Shelbyville, Ky. road US 60 going west in a two lane highway when I braked for a red light and it pulled to the lift bad. If I had been going any faster I am sure it would have pulled me into a car in the lift lane. I had to drive about 16 miles home at about 35 to 40 miles an hour. When I would have to apply my brakes it would pull to the left and then it seemed that the right wheel brake would take a hold. All I know is that I am glad I did not hit anyone and that I made it home ok. I had both hands on the steering wheel with a death grip.got to see what the deal is.

We have had nothing but problems since we purchased this van brand new. My biggest gripe is the O/D light goes on and it seems that the transmission fails to change gears. Also, the top part shows some rust and the interior is very cheaply made.

I went to ford garge for a recall on my car and they told me it was my problem. that was i 03/04/11. The way i read on the recalls i thought that had to do with the recall on the jumper harness recall 09S09 All they did was replace the harness

haven't had this looked at I thought based on everything I read that once I got the recall on the cruise control fixed then it would go off as it did for everyone else but it didn't.

Worthing considering Quality - Honda & Toyota are better.

Get blinking ABS light on & off. Mechanic says ABS internal relay problem, requires ABS Module replacement. If I don't replace wont get ABS to work. So I'm going to try & get second opinion, keep it running as long as possible.

FORD or any Detroit company, need to put effort into their Quality, otherwise customer would continue to switch to other import manufacturer who is willing to ensure quality.

Average person buys a 5 year old vehicle to get decent mileage without major problem, but these thing start to fall part.
