Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. The contact owns a 2001 Ford Windstar. The contact stated that the warning brake light and the check engine lights illuminated intermittently. The dealer replaced the coil which caused the failure. The dealer inform him after replacing the coil that there was also a problem with the ABS link and the heat. The failure mileage w's 73,000. Updated 02/1710 the ABS activated on its own. The dealer replaced the wheel speed sensor. Updated 02/19/10.
