My wife was driving our car with my son and his girl friend. luckily they were only going about 30 mph when the spring broke and tore the side wall out of the tire. I brought it to the local Ford dealer and was told that it was not covered under warranty and that there were no recalls for my vehicle. After doing a little research online I found that there had been a recall for previous model Windstars. So Ford knows that there is a problem with the materials they are using to build their vehicles. It looks like I'm the first to add a complaint here, but would like let anyone who has any problem with a vehicle to register a complaint with the manufacturer and the NHTSB. I'm sure Ford is not the only car manufacturer saving money by using inferior quality materials in the production of their vehicles
