From time to time, particularly when parking on a slight incline, I put the truck in Park, and take my foot off the brake. A second or two later, the truck moves forward a few inches and stops. I'm careful not to park too closely to another vehicle in a parking lot for fear the truck might close a couple inches gap and make contact with another vehicle.

From time to time, particularly when parking on a slight incline, I put the truck in Park, and take my foot off the brake. A second or two later, the truck moves forward a few inches and stops. It feels like some sort of torque converter understood the "park" command, but it still needed to eliminate some tension. I'm careful not to park too closely to another vehicle in a parking lot for fear the truck might close a couple inches gap and make contact with another vehicle.

Since I have the seat mounting and front brake recall to schedule, I'll have the dealer check this out as well. I also am disappointed with the transmission. I understand it's "learning" my driving style, but when that includes everything from rough riding on a mountain dirt road to cruising on the interstate, I'm not sure how long it'll take the truck to modify shift points to give me the best economy? or performance?

Perhaps I'm impatient, but I'd expected more from this transmission. Also, it took reading the manual again to understand that when in M mode, the truck won't go directly to the gear you've chosen, it can use any gear "up to " the number you've chosen. It's helpful for going down long hills to place it in M-4 for example, but if you pretend it's actually a manual shift, you'll find it doesn't work that way. Shift points between 3rd and 4th are so close, it's like having a 5 speed vs. 6. We'll see how it goes from here on...
