Air in auto leveling bleeds off at night leaving extremely low clearance in rear suspension. Some compressor running during driving, and assuming some leaking during vehicle operation. Rear air bags replaced, same problems exist.

The contact owns a 2006 GMC Envoy. While driving approximately 10 mph in the snow, the contact skidded across a block of ice and crashed the vehicle into a curb. The vehicle spun around before stopping. The air bags did not deploy. The contact sustained an injury that did not require medical attention. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was not damaged; however, an unusual sound was heard. Prior to the crash, the rear axle dropped very low and caused the vehicle to ride bumpy. Whenever a bump was struck, while driving at any speed, the contact's head struck the roof, causing neck and back pain. The contact called lkl motors at 253-466-7222 (located at 6204 112th St E, puyallup, wa 98373), which was where the vehicle was purchased. The dealer stated that the vehicle was normal. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 167,000.
