Gm has crappy design of their power window regulators on this truck they commonly break , they use a cables and pully system and the cables usually snap and the window will fall down . First the driver side regulator broke then within a couple weeks the passenger side broke. I had to use duct tape to hold the window up before getting it fixed which cost me approx 200 per window including labor. If you hear a grinding type noise winding up/down your window then chances are your window is about to have problems with the window regulator.
