I have a scan tool and it says my brake recall is unfinished. But website says it has been fixed. My brakes are terrible and keep getting service brakes airbag and stabilitrack. The download they used when I took in for the recall was not finished
The vehicle was in a accident where someone ran a red light and my vehicle hit the in the front passenger side. My speed was around 40 to 45 mph there was no restraint with the seatbelt, airbag did not deploy and brakes didn-€™t work properly.
I had made a appointment to get the recalls resolved at the dealership and I made appointment and everything and they call to confirm thru out the week and then when I showed up they said they couldn-€™t fix it cause it was a branded title and they didn-€™t even offer me any other way of fixing it.

The contact owned a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated that while at a stop light, another vehicle crashed into the drive side door and caved in the door driving at 60 mph. The driver rear and front window were blown out. The air bags failed to deploy. As a result, the contact sustained a cut to her left leg, shoulder and back injuries that required medical attention. I took my truck in to the local GMC dealership for the recall fix and they ask if I wanted a diagnosis on the truck for a charge. I said yes cause I had a check engine light on and service air bag light on. Which they both came on a week after I bought it. So the service advisor told me that the belt tensioner is out on the drivers side and that the wiring under the drivers seat is messed up. And they told me some other things that were wrong with my truck that I have since found out were false. But I asked him if the seat belt and working issue is covered under a safety warranty. And he said no and to fix your truck it will be 5400 dollars. I have found out that there is a recall on these items and the recall number is 15522. So I would like to find out if I'm or the services advisor. Thanks
The service airbag warning light came on and took it into a dealership to figure out why (never been in an accident). The front passenger occupancy sensor is malfunctioning. This would mean in an accident, the airbags would not be deployed because the sensor isn't able to detect if there is a passenger there or not.

The contact owns a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500. While driving approximately 50 mph during inclement weather, the vehicle suddenly veered to the left and crossed over a lane. The airbag and stabilitrack lights come on and off then the door bell rings, every 3 seconds sometimes for continues 15 to 25 times while driving, started at 13331 miles. The dealer refuses to fix unless I pay for
When I was involved in a front impact collision the driver's airbag didn't inflate. The passenger side floorboard had smoke and gas coming from under the dash.
I temporarily had no control over the vehicle causing me to have an accident. While driving down a residential street approaching a stop sign intersection I merged into the center of St to pass a trashcan and in the process of returning to my correct position on the road I suddenly had no steering. Panicking from the loss I pressed my brakes an attempt to bring vehicle to a stop but was unsuccessful because the tires began a slide once noticing the traction loss I proceeded to release brakes and reapply in hopes of gaining traction the brief relief from brakes caused the vehicle to regain traction and while I still have no control over steering, the vehicle jerks towards the right side of the road and the brakes being reapplied the vehicle continues to slide off pavement making contact with stop sign and telephone pole.
Traveling down road at 45 mph in a storm. A large tree blew down in front of me I hit brakes but pickup didn't not stop. I hit the tree as there was no place to go. The front bumper was knocked back app 4 inches wrapped the frame of truck. The air bag never deployed. This was a 2014 GMC bad lander edition. It stayed in shop in okc ok for 3 months at forguson Dodge. I believe the airbags should have deployed and I have a hurt back now because I hit the roof in my seatbelt.
"takata recall" the airbag light was coming on. Took the truck to peltier dealership and they fixed it or said they fixed it. And charged us $3500. Less than 2 weeks out the light is bsck on. How do we get this issue taken care of?
Takata recall - my complaint is to report the lack of timeliness of repair for a manufacturer recall: #2016020003. I have contacted the dealers several times and the parts for repair are not available from the manufacturer. I am concerned about the car's safety and lack of information available on when the parts will be available.

2014 GMC Sierra. Consumer writes in regards to driver airbag and pre-tensioner recall repair issues. When the consumer received a second recall notice, he called the dealer, where they informed him the work had already been performed. The consumer went to the dealer a month prior, after receiving a recall notice and the invoice stated consumer received GM campaign notice.
