Gear shift and dashboard lighting fading on and off at the radio and gear shift locations, including time, temp, drive, radio display, park, reverse, neutral, drive and manual with power steering noise coming from right front side of vehicle when turning.

The contact owns a 2010 GMC Terrain. The contact stated that when using the automatic option for the headlights, he assumed that the tail lights would also illuminate. The tail lights would automatically during daytime hours when there was low visibility, such as fog or snow. The manufacturer was not contacted and there were no repairs made to the vehicle. The VIN and failure mileage was unavailable. Updated 1/7/13 the consumer stated the taillights did not come on in low visibility while in auto mode. Updated 01/09/13
