96 Honda Accord w/ 164,000 - A/C when out on me in the middle of heatwave this summer to the tune of $650 to repair it. I'm not sure if it's the evaporator coil, have to look at the quote from my mechanic, to see exactly what the problem is. This is after my transmission blew early part of this year and had to replaced it with a used one for $1200 labor including.
After 9 years of owning this car, I brought a new car this week. I bought a Toyota Corolla. I'm done with Honda. They use to produce a solid product. I don't have too many complaints about my '96 (it ran trouble-free for 8 years) minus the fact that its a theft magnet. But the latest models are overrun with problems, defects and recalls. They are having wayyy too many quality issues with their cars.
