Cost of repair was $901.50. Talked with Honda, they asked me what they wanted them to do, I told them to pay for the repair. They were upset that I didn't take it to a Honda dealer, they said that by taking the car to a Honda dealer they could control the cost of the parts. I was told to pay the bill and submit it to Honda for consideration. The car is at Brentwood Automotive in Baltimore, 410-889-6748, a highly regarded repair shop specializing in Honda and Toyota. Will at Brentwood said he hadn't seen anything like this before.
