Two days ago, I got a flat tire, which was only a few months old. It blew up in my face. I didnt get hurt. I was about an hour from home. I called road side assistance, it was towed to Walmart where the tires were under warranty. They replaced the tire. As soon as I started driving the SRS light was on. Two days now its been on. I just did some research and found all this. It has come on here and there in the past, however went off. Since the tire change it has not went off.

My warning light on the dash panel that indicates the ABS system used to go out when the seat belts were engaged but this stopped a few days ago. So now the light stays on all the time. What gives??

I have had a problem with my airbags. The SRS light always was on. I have been trying to fix it, but the cost was very expensive

My SRS light has been on for a few weeks. Used to come on intermittently, now stays on all the time. I am a college student who drives long distances constantly, and now am at a loss of what to do. I'm told my airbags won't deploy in an accident, which seems to be a pretty significant problem. I thought Hondas didn't have horrible problems like this. My family has bought 6 and have had nothing but good luck... this is so frustrating!

I noticed that when driving at night that the headlights would increase in brightness indicating an alternator/regulator on the way out. The SRS light would come on shortly after that. I purchased the Honda factory wiring/troubleshooting manual to troubleshoot the charging system and the SRS and I have never seen such a complicated charging system/wiring harness. One evening the alternator went out without the charge indicator light illuminating and I took the car to the dealer. I had a feeling that the alternator is/was the cause of the SRS light problem. I have driven the car for 2 weeks now with no SRS light coming on when before the alternator replacement it was constantly coming on and going off. This makes me wonder if most of the other SRS light problems are actually an over voltage problem. I have heard that the Delphi alternators that Honda used in the inital production were not that good. Just my 2 cents worth.
