I had an oil change five days ago and was shocked hear from service advisor that both my rear brake rotors need to be cut for $289.00. I said it's impossibble, my car has only 24,700 miles. I didn't let them do the job that day. I searched the internet and found this site and surprised to see how serious my is. I emailed the service manager and sent a link to this site and asked if this is covered with warranty. My email was never answered.

Well, I guess I will add my two cents about the rear brakes going on the 2008 Honda Accord. I have about $17,000 miles on my car and I need new brakes. I called Honda of America and they were absolutly NO help whatsoever. I think we all need to band together a do something about this. There are far too many people having these problems. It's just very upsetting. I didn't expect this from Honda.

We have owned several Honda vehicles; however, I'm ready to sell this one and move onto Toyota or even buy a Buick. They don't seem to have these asinine problems with their vehicle, and when a problem arises, the repairs are far cheaper.

Honda will sink themselves with this problem if they don't come up with a quick solution, and especially quick blaming the customer for what is obviously an engineering glitch!

My advise to anyone considering purchasing a Honda product. . . DON'T. Trust me. After years of being a Honda owner, I will NEVER buy another Honda again.
