We purchased a 2016 Accord. After two days of driving, I noticed the transmission very lag, bucking. Slow down very quick when release the accelerator and a rattling noise from the transmission. Went to dealer 4 times. They told me all the symptoms are normal. That is ridiculous. Now my lawyer is on stand by, I'm waiting for the last answer from dealer.

Update from Nov 5, 2016: car geting worse,it is awful, very bucking, noisey, shake, vibration,Electronic noise, went to dealer4 times still tell me that is normal,i cant believe this .honda customer service case manager was very rude, she dont follow the Procedure, she does not sent a technician come to inspect my car,There is racism, my car is awful, honda dose not want to give me any repair and im dirving a honda like a dangerous machine. transmission bucking noisey, poor handling control, dont buy honda if possible

Accord Sport 2.4L

  • CVT transmission
  • 500 miles

On occasion, the car does not respond to light throttle. I notice it when I am turning from a stop or from low speed. It can be dangerous when this happens when turning in front of oncoming traffic. It seems to happen after about five minutes after driving from a cold engine. I notice that the engine RPM is dropping at the same time I am giving it light throttle when the problem occurs. The RPM should be increasing not decreasing when giving throttle. I think the CVT programming is off.
