Took our Honda in for regular service and to get an error code checked we were getting that said "check 12 volt battery". Dealer mechanic told us rodents had eaten through wires in the engine area and through underside of hood. Required body work and repainting AND replacement of wires going through engine. OVER $3000 IN REAPIR COSTS.
The dealership told us they've seen this many times recently. We now see online and in newspaper articles that Honda used soy based wiring that is irresistible to rodents. They know this is a problem.. why is there no recall? Looks like a class action lawsuit has been started here in California. So upset and disappointed.
