The hood of the car had to be stripped down to the metal and had to be repainted. Good thing this was under warranty.

I like my Honda CR-V and when I bought it a few years back it looked really good. I have not washed it hardly at all, but I don't have a garage. About two years ago the clear coat started fading the paint, and it has progressively gotten worse. Its all over the hood and the roof, and I want to keep the CR-V but I'm ashamed of the paint job.

Update from May 18, 2017: Just called Honda America Headquarters to speak with customer service and Dave the manager just kept repeating Honda wouldn't help us due to age of car. I don't see other 15 year old cars with this paint issue. Honda sucks and I'll never buy another one if that's the customer service they provide.
