CR-V CRV

  • Automatic transmission
  • 120,000 miles

A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

I have the oil changed about every 3-5K miles. I drive about 1200 miles per month. the car runs great....I replaced my PVC valve and it made no difference...

the dealer says its my fault or wear and tear...the only thing they can do is tear it down....I have 140K miles on it.

they say the rings need to be replaced....no oil on the garage floor....the car has zero power...

i don't see any smoke coming out the back of my car..does not happen even when i start the car...although the inside of my tail pipe is black....

i will take any assistance...the dealer says my catalytic converter may be clogged....not sure if it makes sense to change it without figuring out what the prob is....the new one would get clogged as well.

it would be ok to contact me at my email at vincehartmann@gmail.com.

CR-V EX 4 cyl

  • Manual transmission
  • 90,000 miles

I have taken the car to the local dealer several times and they have not found why my car is burning oil. When it gets too low the engine light goes on and the manual transmission disengages at 3000 RPM in each gear. This scared the heck out of me and I want to know why a Honda would burn oil like this. I only have 100,000 miles on it and I expect it to go to 200,000 with no problems.
