CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2014 Honda CR-V has a trend of engine hesitation when accelerating.

Honda has tried to fix this delayed acceleration with a software update, but many owners report it didn't fix the problem.

This defect trend is not quite bad enough yet for us to slap on the "Beware of the Clunker" seal. But it's a concern & definitely something to keep in mind for a test drive.

This is one of the most poorly designed Honda as far as the EMF issues are concerned.

The Honda dealerships do not provide any in depth info such as the alternator power, nor the company doesn't respond , and many details of the auto are still little known to ordinary potential buyers. The cost of the auto of 27k $ makes it worth mentioning that if you have anyone with a pacemaker or heart murmur, the chances are that they will get chest pain or EKG complications while driving this car are nearly 100%. The main sources of EMF are the alternator, which does not seem to be well matched to the battery size and seems to work constantly at max power, and the ignition coils near the windshield facing vertically the EMF.of which penetrates the cabin. There is little protection for the driver, by the plastic under the windshield, which in the past was made out of metal.

I am disappointed with lack of knowledge of such issues by the designers who simply make mistake after mistake. In addition the large spark plug gab of the plugs increases the power output of the EMF generated by this 2.4 engine, both at the coils. The battery is unshielded, which might cause an effect or voltage spikes in the high amp alternator current, causing the sensitive people to become easily tired and affected by the long LW wave pulsating EMF.

I am afraid that this issue cannot be simply addressed to any repair shops as it is at the design level and lack of imagination of those who designed this model.
