CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2014 Honda CR-V has a trend of engine hesitation when accelerating.

Honda has tried to fix this delayed acceleration with a software update, but many owners report it didn't fix the problem.

This defect trend is not quite bad enough yet for us to slap on the "Beware of the Clunker" seal. But it's a concern & definitely something to keep in mind for a test drive.

A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

Thought I was buying a GREAT car.My windshield wipers needed to be replaced so I bought what I thought was the best for my car which was a pair of Bosch wiper blades. Had the blades put on by Auto Zone..While I was at Auto Zone I purchased some RAIN X. Came home and applied the RAIN X to the windshield.

I leave my house at 5 o'clock every morning and it's very dark out and heavy traffic on the highway. As I was driving it was raining out, turned my wipers on and the VISIBLITY was VERY bad. It was a bad experience driving next to tractor trailers not seeing where I was going. When the wipers were turned on, it was let's say, smearing the windshield. So I go back to Auto Zone and show them what it was doing by turning my wiper blades on using my windshield washer fluid. He saw what it was doing and replaced my $50 blades with a new pair. DIDN'T FIX ANYTHING.

So I contacted Rain X telling them I wanted to remove their product from my windshield, their reply was to use soft scrub 1st, than apply a product they sell called extreme clean. Did that, still had 'smearing' from the wiper blades. So I go to the Honda dealership tell them what was going on with my windshield'.They told me that there was probably still a little of the RAIN X on the windshield to take a #0000 steel wool pad to the windshield . So I did, STILL DID'NT FIX ANYTHING. So I go back to the Honda dealership the next day and they said that I need the original blades made by Honda put back on saying to myself I already have $50 invested in the Bosch blades and the Honda blades are going to cost me $60. I really didn't have much choice but to buy them. Had Honda dealership put them on. GUESS WHAT, STILL DIDN'T FIX ANYTHING.

So now I go to Giant Glass Company which is a company that installs windshields. He told me to use a polish on my windshield. It's not a rubbing compound, kust a polish. AGAIN, DIDN'T FIX THE SMEARING ON THE WINDSHIELD. So I made a appointment with the manager at the Honda dealership. He looked at it. Didn't know how to fix the smearing. Drove a car off the lot pulled it beside my vehicle turned on the wipers and GUESS WHAT? It was smearing too. So now I have a car that has POOR VISIBILITY when it's raining out. What's going to happen in the winter?

Anybody have any help with this problem? Thanks for hearing my problem.
