I loved everything about my CRV, EXCEPT the seats. The seats were HORRIBLE. I remember 2006 Civic seats being terrible too so this isn't the first time I've encountered bad Honda seats. That being said my 2014 Accord had great seats. The seats in my CRV were so bad that it caused me severe pain. I ended up trading it in for another vehicle, and I think I'm still having back pain months later from it. I cannot recommend this car at all because of that reason. It's possible that the higher trim levels are better. I really cannot believe the tested this vehicle with real people before putting it on the market. I'm 5'9" and I weighed about 170 at the time, so pretty average size and weight. I've never had to trade a car in because the seats were so bad. Very upset. It will probably be the last Honda I ever buy.

Worst seat ever. Drove it for the first time on a long trip and my legs are killing me. Never knew car seats could make you so uncomfortable. Had to put a pillow on seats, that helped a little but shouldn't have to do it. Yet another reason to never buy a Honda again.

I had the bottom seat cover replaced as the seam was like it was tearing. If I drive more than one hour, my rear

end is hurting. most uncomfortable seat I have ever had in and automobile. I am going to check with honda and see what they intend to do about the problem. Think I'll go right to the factory. I'll let you know what happens.

Both the drivers side and passengers side seats are terrible. Thankfully we do not do a lot of driving, and when we do on long (more then an hour trips) we cannot take this car. When you get out of the car you can not move, your back hurts for DAYS after. I am very disappointed as Honda has a great reputation.

I bought this used car on Monday 5/1/17, by Tuesday night I was doing leg and calf stretches to relieve the pain.I am sick with disgust that I bought this car. I read the complaints too late. I've put 350 miles on the car this week, I hate it, it's not fun and I feel violated. I can't return it and lose 2000 dollars. I tried to use outdoor seat cushions to help the poor design of the seat. I am waiting for people to comment when they see the seat cushion when I open my door. I am 6 feet and weigh 160lbs. It's not me, it's the poor design. I think Honda knows about this and doesn't care because of some deal they made.I think the seats should be recalled. Its like sitting on a park bench. This is an absolute disgrace that this car company has the profits and we must suffer their shortsightedness. I want to get a 'see thru decal' on my rear window, 'most uncomfortable seats'. I will not recommend this car to anyone. It's poorly designed.

I'm a long time Honda owner. This is the worst car ever. Honda does not stand behind its products. I am experiencing severe hip and back pain since I have purchased this car. I have gone to the doctor, taken xrays, and two month of physical therapy with no relief.

Honda is aware of similar complaints but will not offer any solution. My only choice is to trade the car in at a losshort or continue to reset any hopes of healing every time I step foot into this car. People, please take this complaint serious. I wouldn't wish this excruciating pain on my enemy. This is the worst car ever!!!!!!!

the seat length is too short and the width too narrow, and the seat is too hard. It causes pain in both the legs and butt. A test drive was too short of a time to identify this as a problem before purchasing the vehicle. Honda should improve the seats and replace them at no cost for those owners who wish the change.

I have been getting leg pain ever since I purchased this car. It occurs after driving for about 20 minutes or longer. I get the pain more in my right leg. Front passenger gets it in the left leg. It seems to me that it is caused by lack of proper support of the leg during driving. I have tried positioning the seat in different positions. Over time, the pain has gotten a bit better. However, still get significant fatigue and discomfort after long drives

I had a 2005 Honda Odyssey van for 11 years. At around 150K miles, the transmission went out, and it really wasn't worth fixing. Unfortunately, we hadn't been prepared to shop for a car and so I had to go out and test drive stuff quick. On top of this it was two weeks before Christmas and we had at least four other major disasters in the same week, so, I did not spend as much time driving the car as I might have. I had the other Honda for 11 years and it was a great car, so I assumed this one would be the same. We found this one as a certified pre-owned with very low miles and all the trimmings. Price was right, so we bought.

After we picked up the car, we drove around town for a while, and by the time we got home I noticed that my shoulders and neck were hurting. The next few days had a lot of in-town driving involved, and within two days I was in agony. I adjusted the seat every single way I could come up with. I slid the steering wheel in and out and up and down. I've watched a number of online videos about how to adjust your car seat properly. I bought three different ergonomic back pads, two of them very expensive, and I still have terrible pain when I drive the car. I know it's the car because somewhere in there I had a couple days where I didn't drive it, and my back stopped hurting. I thought the pads might be helping, but the last couple of days I have driven it a lot and my shoulders and neck are killing me again. It's so bad, I can't even concentrate on driving when I'm in the car. From what I read, there is no option to replace the seat. I'm afraid I'm going to have to replace the car because I'm in so much pain.

The rest of the car is fine, drives nicely, handles well, has AWD and lots of nice features.

Brand new CR-V EX-L and I haven't driven more than a few 20 minute trips on it yet, but the front seat is very uncomfortable and I find myself constantly adjusting it (even while driving). Love all the power seat buttons- makes it easy to constantly fuss with! However, I don't quite know what to do with my left leg to make it comfortable, so I keep moving it in order to avoid feeling numb. I think the seats don't come out far enough (and I'm only 5'3"). They are also quite hard and thin and seem to slope backwards in the bottom part (?) Adjusting the steering wheel is easy and helpful, but it just can't negate the lack of driving comfort emanating from the seats.

I just sold a 2010 VW Tiguan and the front seats in that car were luxurious and wonderful. I've driven halfway across the country in it without any comfort issues at all. I don't even think I ever thought about car seating comfort before, so the fact that I am now shows that it really is a problem. In researching to see if I was alone in my assessment, I was stunned to learn just how many people have been complaining about Honda seats for years. So tell me, why the heck can't they get it right? The car is seemingly great otherwise, so how difficult can it be to upgrade the seats and put an end to the physical issues and customer complaints? Especially for the high end trim levels you'd think they'd make it extra sweet!?!

C'mon Honda. If you want me to stay loyal in the future, you've got to fix this.

Seat are very uncomfortable. The design causes extreme back and hip pain. I cannot drive it more than 15 minutes without severe pain. The seats are too short and do not support you legs. I like everything else about the car but this will make me trade it in and not for another Honda. Very very disappointed.

I have reported this problem to the dealership and via the Honda feedback survey and have absolutely not response from either. This is a $30,000 vehicle which is a big problem when you get leg cramps and numbness in your legs when you drive it for 30 - 40 minutes.
