If you click the AC button but the AC clutch doesn't engage you have 2 options.

1. Replace the clutch

2. Remove the shim. It's an easy DIY fix which works

Everything wrong with this car just devalues it. I cannot recoup any money. How can I sell a car that air-conditioning doesn't work and the paint is peeling all over. I feel like I was ripped off, and I thought this company was top notch. I am so disappointed. I don't have the money to lose

Civic LX 1.7 V4

  • Manual transmission
  • 57,000 miles

At 57,000 km, the AC compressor failed dramatically (lots of noise). The repair should have been covered under warranty in my humble opinion, but since it was over the time period allocated for accessory items (but under the mileage limit), Honda Canada refused to cover it. This is my third new Honda and I have had great success with Honda. Considering the lack of flexibility on the warranty and the heavy expense to repair ($CA 2366.26), I will have to reconsider my position.
