Civic
This is the second transmission that fails on my HONDA civic 2003. The first one literally fell out ( casing and all) when we were driving on a major expressway. Now of course, Honda will not hear about the problem. The first time they gave me ( presumably) a new transmission which lasted a bit over the original one. The problem started in February this year and just got worse as summer wore on. Right now i can't drive it. A new transmission from Honda would cost me upwards of 4,500 and it has a very limited, (rather ludicrous for the money they want), warranty. I'm stuck with the lemon. This is my second new Honda with a problem. the first one from 1999 had its engine die.....oh well. I'm done with HONDA forever....
