The government needs to get it's nose out of the car business. Too much crap on cars that stop people from being responsible drivers. Cars now made like crap. Have had a load of cars/trucks in my life, and never seen things like injectors that need replacing at 20k miles. Other issues, also, which I will go back into this site and note. My FIRST AND LAST HONDA. Back to Toyota for me.
Service engine light came on, took to dealer, said it was something to do with air flow. Cleared code. Came back on, took back in to dealer, said it had to do with a recall for ignition coil. Took in for all recalls. Few days later came back on along with a few other lights. Took back to dealer, replaced the ECM. Lights came back on a few days later, went into safe mode and had to be towed again. Honda Canada had them adjust the valves which did not clear the code but caused a very loud engine knock which I had to drive with for a weekend. Probably have engine damage now. Replaced the fuel injectors which seems to have solved the issue. Honda Canada has not done anything to help, dealer is getting back to us as we no longer want to keep car. Will update when we hear from them.
I have owned several Honda automobiles and the Fit us the only one I have had issues with. Battery died on the coldest day in February 2016 and now it's March and it's the fuel system. WHATS NEXT?.
