This Odyssey is over 3 years old but less than 36,000 miles so in the gray area for the warranty. 3 months ago had to have the steering rack replaced, Honda covered this with a $100 deductible. My suspicion is that they screwed up installation of the towing package the year before. One month ago we had oily leaks so took it in expecting the transmission. Maybe Honda would cover it, maybe not but if not it's minimum $1000, maximum $4-5k. We took the risk, cracked engine block, factory defect. Honda is covering the cost of the new engine but will not warranty the new engine and would not pay for a loaner car. The dealer said this is why we were given the opportunity to buy an extended warranty. I'm done with Honda and this dealer.
