Odyssey Touring

  • Automatic transmission

Intermittent wipers, high beams, turn signals, driver side sliding door and rear door, keyless entry remotes, driver side door locks, quit functioning. Things began functioning correctly a few hours later and then stopped working again. Dealer has no idea what the problem is. Any ideas.

Update from Apr 29, 2009: Began working once it was taken in for service then quit working again.

Odyssey LX 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 59,000 miles

After a heavy rain storm, I attempted to open the doors on my 2005 Odyssey LX with the key fob. The power locks would not function. After starting the van and driving away, I noticed that the turn signals, intermittent front wipers and the high beams were not functioning. Went home and put van in my garage and all started working next morning. By afternoon, same problem. Next day and thereafter no more problems. Checked fusses, and all were good. Contacted dealer, no help in brainstorming what had happened. Maybe water from storm shorted out a part of the fuse system and once the system was dry, worked normally !
