Drove car Saturday night. Everything was fine. Started engine Sunday morning, immediate loud, banging noise from under hood. Check engine light came on immediately. Had vehicle towed to mechanic. Computer read issues in cylinders1 and 4. Pulled valve covers, find pieces of spark plug in cylinder #1. Cylinder wall is scored. Engine needs replacement. #1 coil had been replaced 4 months prior. Engine is ten years old with 133000 miles on it. Was always well maintained.
